In the audio clip below, Jordan Davis explains why he named his upcoming album (available everywhere Friday, August 15th) Learn The Hard Way.
“Well, the reason why it’s called Learning The Hard Way has been, I think balance with me has always been something that I’ve kind of struggled with. Then, especially when things started going well in music, you you want to go out there and you want to play shows and you kind of want to capitalize on that. And then you also want to be a good dad and a good husband and be able to kind of really juggle those two worlds think subconsciously a lot of these songs are about that, whether it be about losing a relationship, I think it kind of goes to show you where I was in a headspace in that. So when I heard Learn the Hard Way, it kind of made all that come together.”
