“What’s up, Country Radio? It’s Josh Ross here, and I just wanted to say thank you guys so very much. My second number one with Hate How You Look. ah It’s just amazing to see what we’ve done in the last two years, and I wouldn’t be here without you guys. It’s been incredible to see the music translated on the road, watching the fans grow every weekend for my own shows, and while we’re out opening and supporting other artists. So thank you guys so much. ah Here’s the next one, and here’s to the next. Oh my gosh, hopefully 20, 30 years playing music for you guys. Love you all so much, and all the best. Thanks.”

MCA / CORE Records / Universal Music Canada artist Josh Ross has earned his second consecutive No. 1 at U.S. Country Radio as “Hate How You Look” reached the top of the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week.

With the achievement, Ross becomes the first solo Canadian male artist in more than 50 years to earn back-to-back U.S. Country Radio No. 1 singles, a feat not accomplished since country music legend Hank Snow.

“I still can’t believe I get to do this. Seeing ‘Hate How You Look’ follow ‘Single Again’ to No. 1 is something I’ll never forget. Huge thanks to country radio, the fans, my team, and everyone who’s supported these songs since the begging. It means more than you know,” says Ross.

Written by Nicholas Sainato, Chris McKenna, Jessica Farren and Christian Yancey, “Hate How You Look” quickly emerged as a fan favorite upon release. Today’s milestone follows the success of Ross’ breakthrough hit “Single Again,” which earned his first U.S. Country Radio No. 1 under the Mercury Nashville radio promotion team and has since been RIAA Gold certified in the United States. Together, the two chart-toppers have helped propel the Canada-born, Nashville-based artist into a new chapter of his career.

The chart achievement follows a standout year for Ross, highlighted by acclaimed performances at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. With more than one billion global career streams, multiple Canadian Country Radio No. 1s, a JUNO Award for Country Album of the Year and CCMA Entertainer of the Year honors, Ross continues to build momentum on both sides of the border.

Currently on the road across North America, Ross continues to connect with fans while building on the momentum of another career-defining milestone.
