Keith Urban returns to his HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR this week after making several appearances during CMA Music Fest, and he’s quite exhilarated being on the road after not being able to go on tour for three years.
“I live for playing live, golly, ‘cause we haven’t done a full tour like this since 2022. We should’ve toured last year – that was the plan – but I scrapped an album and ended up making HIGH, and so that pushed me off a year, which is fine, because I’m much happier with this album especially the songs that we get to play live –‘Straight Line,’ ‘Chuck Taylors,’ ‘Laughin’ All The Way To The Drank,’ ‘Wildside.’ There’s so many fiery, energized, uptempo songs, which I love playing live, especially outdoors, summer, that’s my jam.”
